Arco de las Jarras Expedition Plan

A 4-5 hour hiking day to the imposing Arco de las Jarras, a unique rock formation in the Colombian Massif. All inclusive with return to the farm.

The Arco de las Jarras is a volcanic rock formation that has become one of the most unique attractions in the Upper Magdalena region. Its name comes from the characteristic shape the rock takes on as it erodes.

The 4-5 hour route crosses Andean forest, water sources and natural viewpoints overlooking the Central Cordillera. Difficulty level: moderate-high. We recommend good physical condition and trekking footwear.

The plan includes an expert guide familiar with the terrain, transportation from Vegonia, and insurance policy. Return to the farm for rest and meals.
